Dr. Tat-Kin Tsang is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is Professor of Medicine on faculty at the University of Chicago School of Medicine. He was the teaching chief of the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology for 15 years and associate fellowship director for 10 years.
Dr. Tsang's interest include pancreatobiliary diseases, H. pylori, peptic ulcer disease, interventional endoscopy and colon cancer detection. He has described seven endoscopic techniques, and a new method to identify H. pylori from stomach biopsies, is the author of over 60 articles and a regular national conference presenter. He is also a reviewer for six outstanding G.I. journals. Dr. Tsang supervises a basic research laboratory at Glenbrook Hospital with two post-doctoral fellows.
He is a board-certified gastroenterologist.
